Havlíčkův Brod District, Vysočina Region, Czechia

loading weather forecast...

Pohled is a picturesque village in the Vysočina region, spread along both sides of the Sázava River. This historically significant town boasts a rich history dating back to the 13th century, when a Cistercian monastery was founded here, later transformed into a Baroque castle. Nearby you’ll find the pilgrimage site of Svatá Anna and nature inviting hiking and exploration, such as along the K. H. Borovský Trail. A notable curiosity is the unfinished school, which has become a symbol of the village’s financial difficulties. Singer Marta Kubišová once lived here. Wikipedia
